Terms and Conditions CU Basketball Ticket Sweepstakes

Official Rules: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. Purchase will not improve chances of winning. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.

HOW TO ENTER TO BE A FINALIST:

The sweepstakes begins 11/18/2024 at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time ("MT") and ends 12/29/2024 at 5:30 p.m. MT ("Sweepstakes Period").
There are two (2) ways to enter during the Sweepstakes Period: - Entry via Form: an individual may enter this sweepstakes by completing the form on the sweepstakes page with all required fields. Limit one (1) entry per person. - Mail-in Entry: an individual may enter this sweepstakes by printing their name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and the words “CU Basketball Ticket Sweepstakes” on a piece of paper, mailed in a stamped envelope to: Sweepstakes Entry C/O Marketing, Elevations Credit Union, PO Box 9004, Boulder, CO 80301. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the end of the Sweepstakes Period as detailed above. Limit one (1) entry per person. In lieu of mailing this entry, it may be personally delivered to a staff member at an Elevations Credit Union branch location prior to the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
To opt out of an entry, send a letter containing your name and the sweepstakes you wish to opt out of to: Elevations Credit Union Sweepstakes Opt Out, PO Box 9004, Boulder, CO 80301-9004.

ELIGIBILITY:

Elevations Credit Union Members: Sweepstakes is open to members and non-members who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, and are age 18 or older at the time of sweepstakes entry. Employees, volunteers, officials or other agents of Elevations Credit Union, immediate families (spouse and parents, children, and siblings, and each of their respective spouses) and persons living in the household of each of these individuals, whether related or not, are ineligible to win. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. The sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Important notice to certain state or local government employees: Your eligibility to participate in this promotional drawing may be affected by Amendment 41 to the Colorado Constitution, which became effective on or about November 7, 2006. If you have questions regarding the impact of Amendment 41 on you or your eligibility to participate in this sweepstakes promotion, please contact your employer for further information.
Fraud: The Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant from participating in any aspect of the sweepstakes or may cancel, suspend, or reject the entry of any entrant, if the Sponsor deem or suspect that such person has engaged in or has attempted to engage in any of the following: acting in violation of these Official Rules; damaging, tampering with, or corrupting the operation of the sweepstakes, or using any automated bot, script, or other robotic, mechanical, programmed, or automated devices to submit data or entries as determined by Sponsor; or any unsportsmanlike, disruptive, potentially fraudulent, or other activity deemed, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, to be generally inconsistent with the intended operation of the sweepstakes. CAUTION: SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO ATTEMPTS TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.

SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING, PRIZES, AND ODDS OF WINNING:

Winners’ Drawing: On or about 12/30/2024, a random drawing to select three (3) winner(s) from all eligible entries and will be conducted under the direction of Elevations Credit Union's Marketing Department whose decision is final in all matters related to the drawing. The finalist(s) will be notified within one week of the drawing by email provided in the contest form or by phone for a mail-in entry. If potential finalist cannot be contacted for any reason (as determined solely by Sponsor) within one week of the drawing, or if a potential finalist is deemed ineligible or otherwise non-compliant with any aspect of these Official Rules, the finalist designation will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. Each Finalist will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and all other documents required by Sponsor by the due date specified.
Prize Winners: The winner(s) will receive two (2) tickets and pregame VIP access to the CU Men’s Basketball game on 1/15/2024 vs. Cincinnati.
Winners’ Names: For the name(s) of the Prize Winner(s), available thirty (30) days after the Sweepstakes Period, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Elevations Credit Union Prize Winner Name, PO Box 9004, Boulder, CO 80301-9004.
Total Prize Pool Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $500.00

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Releasees (as defined below) are not responsible for printing, typographical, computer, telephonic, human, or other errors relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the announcement of the prizes, the processing of entries, or in any sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, inaccurate, misdirected, undelivered, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail, entries, or transactions; or for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer(s) related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes, or downloading materials from or use of the participating web sites for the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of entrants, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, legality, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes and, at its sole discretion, award the prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such action. By participating, entrants agree that this sweepstakes is governed by laws of the state of Colorado, without regard to conflicts of laws principles, with venue for resolution of any dispute exclusively in Boulder, Colorado.
By participating, entrants agree to: a.) the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects; and b.) release, discharge, and hold harmless Elevations Credit Union, their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and employees of the aforementioned entities (collectively, the "Releasees") from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize, including, without limitation, any travel related thereto. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to, where legal, Sponsor's and its designee's use of his/her name, city and state of residence, and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation, permission, or notification and upon request will provide consent to such use in writing. As a condition of entering the sweepstakes, participant agrees that: a.) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out of pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; and c.) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorney's fees.
