LOCAL CHANGE COMMUNITY GRANTS
Supporting local nonprofits every year.
The Local Change Foundation supports our Colorado communities by awarding community grants annually to area nonprofit organizations. Our 2024 application period will open on July 15 and close on September 3. Grant recipients will be notified on October 17.
Areas of funding.
The Local Change Foundation awards grants to local nonprofits working in the following fields:
Mental Health
Affordable Housing
Priority will be given to mental health organizations with operating budgets under $1M and affordable housing organizations with operating budgets under $3M. Local Change periodically reviews and updates its funding priorities, using local community research to focus our funding in areas where there are significant gaps in services.
Meet our 2023-2024 community grant recipients:
"At Veterans Community Project, we like to say that community is our middle name for a reason. It's communities like the Local Change Foundation and the credit union’s incredible members that make our work possible and help us to ensure that every veteran in our community has a place to turn when they're in need." - Jennifer Seybold of Veterans Community Project
The Local Change Foundation has provided over $720,000 in community grants to 67 nonprofit organizations since 2010.
